Accommodations
All wedding events will take place at Cigarral de las Mercedes, our wedding venue and a boutique hotel overlooking Toledo. We have reserved the entire hotel for our guests and would love for as many of you as possible to stay on-site with us. Because room availability is limited, we recommend booking early through our room block with the link below. TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR TRIP
Although the wedding celebrations will take place in Toledo from Friday, 16 April, to Sunday, 18 April, we recommend that guests arriving in Spain before Friday stay in Madrid and take the opportunity to explore the city.
There is no need to travel to Toledo in advance. Transportation will be provided from central Madrid to Toledo on Friday, 16 April, as well as return transportation to Madrid on Sunday, 18 April.

Toledo is a beautiful and historic city located just a short distance from Madrid, making it easily accessible by plane, train, or car. Below, we’ve outlined the best ways to reach Toledo to help you plan your trip.
GETTING IN
The nearest major airport is Adolfo Suárez Madrid- Barajas Airport (MAD), which is approximately 75 kilometers (47 miles) from Toledo. From the airport, you can take a taxi, private transfer, or public transportation to reach Toledo. Here’s how:

TAXI/PRIVATE TRANSFER: A taxi or private transfer from Madrid Airport to Toledo takes about 1 hour and is the most convenient option, especially if you’re traveling with luggage.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the metro or a taxi from the airport to Madrid Atocha Train Station (about 30 minutes), then catch a train to Toledo (see below for details).
GETTING TO TOLEDO
There are several easy ways to get to Toledo from Madrid, including the high-speed train and taxi/Uber. We also plan to provide transportation between Madrid city center and Toledo for our wedding guests. More details will be shared as we get closer to the wedding weekend.
By Train
Traveling by train from Madrid to Toledo is a quick and scenic option. High-speed trains (AVE or AVANT) depart regularly from Madrid Atocha Train Station and take approximately 30 minutes to reach Toledo.

TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased online in advance via Renfe's website or at the station.

ARRIVAL IN TOLEDO: The train station in Toledo is located just outside the city center. From there, you can take a taxi or a local bus to your hotel.
By Car
If you prefer to drive or take a taxi, Toledo is about 70 kilometers (43 miles) from Madrid and is easily accessible via the A-42 highway.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
April in Toledo typically brings mild, pleasant spring weather. Daytime temperatures are usually around 65–70°F (18–21°C), with cooler temperatures in the evenings. As spring weather can vary, we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening and checking the forecast closer to the wedding weekend.
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The wedding ceremony and cocktail reception will take place outdoors, while dinner and dancing will be held indoors.
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS WITH OUR PHONES AND CAMERAS DURING THE WEDDING?
Yes! Feel free to take photos and capture special moments throughout the day. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
